Volunteer Experience Program

Volunteer Experience Program

Mentor a new pre-college pre-med student.
Our program offers mentorship and direction to pre-college pre-med students in preparation for becoming a university pre-med student. Once the mentee completes registration, the pre-college will be matched with a pre-health student mentor.

In addition to gaining volunteer experience, mentors will also gain leadership experience. Volunteering as a mentor involves taking on a responsible role where you guide and support other students. This experience allows you to demonstrate leadership qualities such as mentorship, coaching, problem-solving, and communication. You’re responsible for helping others navigate challenges, providing guidance, and serving as a role model, which are all valuable leadership skills. It showcases your ability to lead and positively influence others, making it a meaningful addition to your leadership portfolio.

How it Works

1. Enroll and Register:

Pre-college pre-med students register for our mentorship program, expressing interest in gaining guidance and preparation for university pre-med studies.

2. Match and Mentorship:

Upon completion of registration, each pre-college mentee is carefully matched with a pre-health student mentor. The mentor commits to volunteering at least 4 day a month throughout the mentee's undergraduate program and provides personalized guidance to help individuals set and achieve goals, navigate challenges, and enhance overall journey.

3. Empower Through Volunteering:

positively impact high school students interest in pursuing a medical career and contribute supportive community. Meet weekly to share your expertise and make a lasting impact on their pre-med journey.

For the volunteer experience opportunities, we suggest our students meet with their mentee a minimum of 4 hours a week for the duration of their undergraduate program.
